Yes, you read the title correct, a natural disaster has done in the start of Season Two of the Animated Adventures. Not a natural disaster in North Carolina, but across the world in China.

Let me explain.

SJ and I have been hinting around that the first episode off the new season would be something you would not be expecting. Normally what you get from us is loose, fun, and definitely not too serious. The first episode of Season Two was breaking with that tradition.

I do not want to give too much away as I am still going to air the show, just a couple of weeks late. As you may have guessed, however, the episode is very critical of China, and the rest of the world, over the Beijing Olympics.

Well, with the earthquake that just hit China, I was feeling a bit odd putting this episode out right now. Well, I finally made the decision to postpone Season Two when I got news that a serious aftershock has yet again hit the area and cut off rescue and aid to those already stricken.

We here at RfL send all the best to the people of China in this horrible situation.

Oh yes, the show will air, I just want to give a bit of time between the show and the disaster. The episode is critical of the government, not the people, but I still think it would be in bad taste to run it now.

So, season Two is delayed a bit, to make up for this, I have a short that is almost finished that I will run next week, with the first full episode of Season Two to air the following week.
